As part of Heritage Weekend, Lichfield Waterworks Trust will again be organising a Waterworks Walk on Saturday 23 September, commencing at 11:00am at Speakers Corner.

The walk will follow the line of the Hanch Tunnel all the way to Sandfields Pumping Station, where visitors will be able to take a look inside.

This will be a very rare opportunity to look inside one of the regions finest pieces of industrial heritage, describes as a cathedral to the industrial revolution.

So, get into character a little or a lot, and prepare to see inside one of Lichfield’s best kept secrets.
