Lichfield Waterworks Trust meeting with Persimmon Homes PLC

Today the Lichfield Waterworks Trust will be meeting with Persimmon Homes PLC in the offices of Lichfield District Council to talk about the future of Sandfields Pumping Station, Lichfield.

We hope that this will be the first step in a meaningful discussion about the future of this historic hidden gem that saved thousands of lives in the black Country during the mid-ninetieth century cholera epidemics.

Sandfields Pumping Station was built to serve the community and we believe that it should continue to do so, so please wish us luck for today.
